Investment Facility
Scope
The Australian Office of Financial Management (AOFM) operates a facility for the investment of Australian Government monies. The facility invests in a variety of Australian dollar denominated deposits and debt instruments. These include bank accepted bills, negotiable certificates of deposit and high credit quality debt securities.
Investment Facility Dealing Panel
The AOFM conducts its investment activity only with the Reserve Bank of Australia and members of the investment facility dealing panel.
Interested parties may apply to become a Panel Member. Approved applicants enter into a Panel Membership Agreement with the AOFM which binds the Panel Member and the AOFM to the AOFM Investment Facility - Conditions of Panel Participation.
Reporting on Investment Holdings
A high level summary of investment holdings at the end of each month is updated on the fifth business day of each month.
