New Information Memoranda for Commonwealth Government Securities
New Information Memoranda for Treasury Bonds, Treasury Indexed Bonds and Treasury Notes have been issued today by the Australian Office of Financial Management.
The major changes to the Information Memoranda are as follows:
- Commonwealth Government Securities are now eligible for exemption from non-resident interest withholding tax.
- A clarification to the ex-interest period arrangements for Treasury Bonds and Treasury Indexed Bonds.
- A change to the methodology for calculating allotments at the highest accepted yield for securities issued via tender.
