Tips for Candidates
When applying for specific vacancies you should:
- Be concise
- Organise your application
- Provide a completed Applicant Personal Details Form
- Detail relevant educational qualifications
- Be prepared to arrange referee reports commenting on your ability to meet the selection criteria
Please do NOT:
- Provide excessive information on experience that is not relevant to the advertised position or selection criteria – irrelevant information may mask your true capabilities
- Make the entire application long and unorganised, covering the same information in many areas
- Use fancy folders to dress up the application – they only are separated and thrown away! (AOFM prefers electronic applications via email)
