Forthcoming AOFM Tenders
The Australian Office of Financial Management (AOFM) plans to hold the following tenders for the issue of Commonwealth Government Securities.
Treasury Bonds
On Wednesday, 29 May 2013 a tender for the issue of $700 million of the April 2027 Bond line is planned to be held. Full details are available in the official tender announcement.
On Friday, 31 May 2013 a tender for the issue of $700 million of the January 2018 Bond line is planned to be held. Full details are available in the official tender announcement.
Treasury Notes
The next tender for the issue of Treasury Notes is planned to be held on Thursday, 6 June 2013. Details of the tender including the maturities and amounts to be offered will be announced on Friday, 31 May 2013.
Treasury Indexed Bonds
It is planned to issue in the range of $150 million to $250 million of the September 2025 Treasury Indexed Bond line on Tuesday, 18 June 2013. Full details of the tender including the amount to be offered will be announced on Friday, 14 June 2013.
It is planned to issue the February 2022 Treasury Indexed Bond line in July 2013. The issue amount at this tender will be in the range of $200 million to $300 million.
Aussie Infrastructure Bonds
Some of the proceeds of these tenders may be used to finance the Government's investment in the National Broadband Network, which are then reported as Aussie Infrastructure Bonds in the budget papers.
