Forthcoming AOFM Tenders
The Australian Office of Financial Management (AOFM) plans to hold the following tenders for the issue of Commonwealth Government Securities.
Treasury Bonds
On Wednesday, 8 February 2012 a tender for the issue of $700 million of the April 2023 Bond line is planned to be held. Full details are available in the official tender announcement.
On Friday, 10 February 2012 a tender for the issue of $700 million of the July 2017 Bond line is planned to be held. Full details are available in the official tender announcement.
Treasury Notes
A tender for the issue of $1,000 million of Treasury Notes maturing on 11 May 2012 and $600 million of Treasury Notes maturing on 8 June 2012 is planned to be held on Thursday, 9 February 2012. Full details are available in the official tender announcement.
Treasury Indexed Bonds
The next tender for the issue of Treasury Indexed Bonds is planned to be held on Tuesday, 21 February 2012. Details of the tender including the bond line and amount to be offered will be announced on Friday, 17 February 2012.
Aussie Infrastructure Bonds
Some of the proceeds of these tenders may be used to finance the Government’s investment in the National Broadband Network, which would then be reported as Aussie Infrastructure Bonds in the budget papers.
